5 Ideas for Self Care..

Hello everyone I am very passionate about finding Happiness and to live a Happy Healthy Lifestyle. I discover that the first step of living a Happy Healthy Lifestyle is that you take care of yourself.. that you know your worth and that you treat yourself nice every day.. I think that the secret of Happiness lays in the fact that you have to take good care of yourself to be Happy.. and I have to admit this wasn't always the case for me but ever since I really try to take good care of myself everyday I noticed that I started to feel much more happier and I felt so much more better in my skin.. So today I wanted to share 5 ideas for Self Care:

 

 

Take a hot Bath 

 

 

This is something that I have been doing ever since I moved to the UK the first thing on my list was that I really wanted to have a home with a bath, every night I light up some candles for myself and draw myself a nice hot bath right before I go to bed.. I put on some relaxing music on the background and I light up a scented candle or use some bath oils.. I just love the smell of Lavender and I also found out that Lavender reduces anxiety and stress..  

 

 

 

Watch your Favorite Sitcom show 

 

 

 

I think that this is one of my favorite things to do to take good care of myself.. I always try to watch something that makes me smile and one of my all time favorite show has to be Friends I always have it on in the background as well and if I feel a little bit down I also put on my favorite shows and it really helps me to feel better, I also love watching Two and a Half Man and Sex and the City they’re my favorites at the moment.. Write down the things that you are Thankful for 

 

 

This is something that I do every evening right before I take my bath I am going on my computer and I write down a list of all the things that I am thankful for and I noticed, that ever since I am doing this. I find myself more content and so much more grateful and it really reminds me of how blessed I am.. and that there is always something to be thankful for everyday..

 

 

 

Drink a cup of Coffee or Tea and Relax 

 

 

I will advise you to drink a nice cup of tea. I personally don’t really drink coffee simply because it gives me anxiety.. I try to find a tea without caffeine at the moment I drink camomile tea, I also love to drink hot water with some fresh mint leaves and honey or you can put some ginger or rosemary in your tea’s as well.. The more natural it is the better.. I always try to make some time free for myself and I call that my Tea time I just love to sit on the couch and light up a scented candle and then I just snuggle up on the sofa with my sweet little doggy Merci.. I also love to have a little treat with my tea as well.. Usually I go for a piece of chocolate but you can also have some nice biscuits instead.. on these times I try to be really mindful I focus on how I feel, how it tastes on my taste buds and I love to listen to the surroundings as well it really helps me to be in the moment and to really enjoy my delicious cup of tea.. and off-course you can do this with a nice cup of coffee as well..

 

 

 Put on a Face Mask 

 

 

This is really something that I need to do more often.. I also decided to do this on a Friday night I call it my Girls night in.. I put on a nice face-mask make myself some fresh strawberries with chocolate.. have glass of prosecco and watch my favorite Rom Com. I think that it’s so important to have a nice night for yourself.. especially with our hectic lives, I believe that it’s so important to recharge and to really pamper yourself and to treat yourself with a nice face-mask and to do some girly things.. I love to do it by myself but you can also invite some of your girlfriends off course because we all deserve a Girls night pamper session at home.. 

So here are 5 ideas for Self Care.. I think that it’s so important to take good care of yourself especially your mind body and soul.. It’s so easy to forget yourself and to carry on with our day to day tasks. But I believe that if you just do some things for yourself it could be as little as one a day.. You will feel so much better about yourself and you will be so much more healthier and happier.. I hope I can inspire you and I will see you soon with some new inspiration.
